Description:
This class will examine the life of Salvadoran Archbishop Oscar Romero,
and the movement to shut down the School of the Americas (SOA).
Students will learn about Romero and the SOA and plan to attend this year’s
protest to shut down the SOA.
Professor Ralph Armbruster-Sandoval, Chicano Studies, teaches and conducts research on globalization, labor, social movements, racism, pedagogy; Latin American Studies, and Urban Studies.
