Description:
This seminar will be an introduction to the field of Energetics. We will discuss where the various forms of Energy we use are coming from, what they are used for, what are our reserves, and what alternative or renewable technologies we may be able to use in the future to sustain (or not) our current societal and technological needs.
Professor Eric Matthys, Engineering, has been teaching classes on energy for a while in Mechanical Engineering. Taught many required and elective classes in thermal sciences and fluid mechanics.
