Description:
What is and supposedly is not “Spanish” in present-day Spain and after the Constitution of 1978? We will examine how specific films, short stories, poems and songs produced in the last three decades answer this question.
Professor Silvia Bermudez, Spanish and Latin American and Iberian Studies, research interests focuses on contemporary Latin American and Peninsular cultural productions. Her current work pays attention to issues of immigration and border crossing in the musical productions of Latin America and Spain.
